Stephens Plumbing Earns Legacy Business Status in Los Angeles

We’re thrilled to announce that Stephens Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning has been officially recognized by the City of Los Angeles as a Legacy Business.

The Legacy Business Program honors long-standing, independently owned companies that have helped shape the city’s identity. To qualify, a business must:

• Be independently owned and operated
• Have served its community for at least 20 years
• Contribute to local history and identity
• Sustain and cultivate distinctive cultural traditions
• Provide essential services to residents

This is quite an honor—especially when we think back to our humble beginnings.

Founded in 1986, Stephens Plumbing started as a small family operation built on hard work, honesty, and genuine care for our neighbors. Nearly 40 years later, we’re still family owned, still local, and still guided by those same values.

Over the years, that sense of community has extended beyond our service calls. We’re proud to support local schools, youth sports, and organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs, the Special Olympics, and the Wounded Warrior Project. It’s our way of giving back to the same neighborhoods that have supported us since day one.

This recognition reflects our incredible team and the loyal customers who have made it all possible. We’re deeply grateful for your trust and for allowing us to be part of the community for more than four decades.
